Welcome to my home on the Internet, it isn’t much but it’s my least serious website that I run.
Check out my news page first - it’s where I keep everyone apprised of my randomness. And if you see my mind let me know - I think it ran off to sing trios with my wits and my sanity at the local Celtic jam.
Elizabeth White is a creative young bassist, with a vivid sense of style to match her personality and instruments. She was voted "Female Bluegrass Instrumentalist of the Year" by the professors at South Plains College for the 2004/2005 School year.
John Reid, editor of Melbay's Bass Sessions Webzine, said "I have found Elizabeth White to be an exceptional talent... I don't believe there is any limit to what she can do as during her stay here [at South Plains College], she has constantly amazed me with her varied abilities and talents and her endless drive."
She has performed with Austin’s Blazing Bows, "Keepin’ it Wheeler" - better known as South Plains College’s Jazz Combo 1, and County Hockley Ceili - a well known Irish band from the Lubbock, Texas area. She has also taught bass for National Guitar Workshop. It is the love of the music and the people that play it that fuels her passion for music - so we will be hearing from her for many years to come.
